Airships Unlimited, Inc is proud to present our plan to convert an abandoned airport into something that has never been done before ... a Blimp Port!!! The plan that we have created is favored by the community. It is being promoted by an airship industry entrepreneur who has resided near the site since 1952.
There is a great need for airship mooring facilities in the New York metropolitan area. Most importantly, this project will benefit the tourist industry and be an inspiration to children of all ages.
We hope that those making a decision about use of the property will take into account the balance of environmental responsibility and commercial use that our plan offers.
